Today is the last day of the Get Stuffed spring tour! The company had a wonderful past 3 weeks bring opera with a message of health eating to students at 28 schools throughout the GTA. We would like to acknowledge all of the principals and teachers that booked Get Stuffed for helping to make this tour such a success.
Also, thank you to the principals, teachers and parents who have sent in feedback about Get Stuffed. Here is an email that I received from Beverly Kirsh, Principal of Arbour Glen P.S in Toronto:
“On behalf of the students and staff at Arbor Glen Public School, I would like to thank you for coming to our school to perform your opera, Get Stuffed.
It was obvious from the faces and attention of the children that they absolutely loved what they were watching. The audience appreciated the outstanding levels of performance that they saw. The message that you gave our children was extremely valuable. The question and answer session at the end of the opera was also instructive. The children loved hearing the voice ranges of the talented singers who came to us.
Thank you for coming to our school and sharing your great Opera with us.”

This morning Get Stuffed visited the students of Church Street Jr PS in downtown Toronto. The students were enthralled by the performers big voices and the live music. This afternoon the company is making the drive to Caledon to perform at Belfountain P.S.
We also received wonderful feedback and a fantastic card from Brisdale PS, our first stop of the tour.
“We would like to thank you for the two wonderful and amazing performance of Get Stuffed at our school on Monday, April 20, 2009. Our students and staff enjoyed the shows very much while learning the important message of eating healthy. Your company presented a “serious” topic in a joyful and humorous way. The music, singers, costumes and the story are well put together.
The shows are wonderful! Bravo!
