WHERE YOU CAN GET STUFFED WITH THE GOOD STUFF!
Set in the school cafeteria, Get Stuffed is a comic opera about serious decisions. The production features vocalizing vegetables along with a big helping of other opinionated edible characters, all competing to influence one child’s daily diet.
Get Stuffed is a unique project developed in association with the Canadian Diabetes Association with multi-year funding support from The Ontario Trillium Foundation for province-wide touring, as well as funding from the Ministry of Health Promotion and Ontario Agri-Food Education Inc – Healthy Eating Program & Loblaws Canada.

Over the next 4 weeks the Get Stuffed tour will be making stops in the following communities:

April 26 to 29, 2010 – Oshawa, Brockville, Carlton Place, Arnpior & Renfrew
May 3 to 7, 2010 – North Bay & Sudbury
May 10 to 15, 2010 – Blind River & Sault Ste. Marie

It’s a FREE family day event in the gorgeous outdoors of the Distillery Historic District! And Fill your hearts and bellies with performances of Tapestry new opera work’s children’s opera, Get Stuffed – a comic opera about making healthy food choices with special prominence from fruits and vegetables!! Have you ever seen a singing slab of cheese or broccoli? With food workshops available and plenty of stores and galleries to amuse, it’s sure to be a day filled with fun and entertainment.
